10 months.

Just a quick note about our "double digit" little boy as dave called it! This morning he said Mama, hes been saying it for dave but not for me. oh gosh it just melted my heart! We desperately wish time would slow down, I know my baby isn't a baby anymore. These last 2 weeks have been just the best, even with him still getting up in the night he just is the happiest kid ever! He loves outside, which we love because we are outside constantly. We found a little tikes "barn" that goes outside he was sooo excited! He's been getting better at playing by himself and just being able to be in a room by himself. Makes life absolute bliss.  We seem to just keep loving every stage that's coming and we hope it stays that way!

Right now as I type he found his soothers in the tote where I have been packing all of his baby stuff away and is playing with them. He rarely ever took a soother so it's odd seeing him put them in his mouth.

 Some of his fun new "quirks" are:

- Shakes his right leg when he gets excited, we call it his Elvis leg.

-Very vocal! So loud in stores!

- Waves hi and bye.

- Shares his snacks with us.

- Learned how to chase us and the cats.

- Obsessed with honking our noses.

- Says mom & dad.

-Seriously the worlds greatest smile.

- Shakes his bum when we ask him too.

- Walks with help, with his "mater toy".

Is that not the best teeth filled smile? ( no more goofy teeth:0)

we LOVE him so much!

You know those moments, those moments where your just in love so much! we are constantly having these moments with Levi. Where we just cant get enough of him! I even miss him while he's napping and when I put him to sleep I miss him. He's starting to get all these cute quarks and so much personality! Hes not a baby anymore he's becoming such a little toddler. This video is one of those moments where my heart just wanted to burst! We just love him SO much!
I headed outside after putting Levi to down for a nap. I brought out the baby monitor and i could hear him just giggling away. All of a sudden I could hear banging on a window. I looked up and this is what I saw:

Dont mind my voice, but turn up your volume and you can hear Levi giggling through the baby monitor.

oh summer, how we missed you!

What a terrific day!! The sun was out and we got the garden planted!

Mother's Day.

We went for a walk in the morning.

 After church we headed to the Roberts' for a mothers day meal.

The Murray Easter egg hunt.

We did a big Easter egg hunt in our Villa and it was so much fun! I think it will have to become a tradition!

9 month old, already!!

 

I haven’t done a “_____ months” post in awhile. Levi is now 9 months old and it just boggles my mind to how much they learn. He’s crawling every where and into everything and we LOVE it! He’s much happier being independent.

Levi’s favourites:

- pears & peaches.

- dragging his monkey with him.

- boxes!

- chasing the cats.

- snow.

- bouncing on his knees.

- his basketball & blocks.

Levi is getting so good at self feeding! Since we started homo milk he’s hungrier to sit down and eat, YAY! This has made things much easier, he just eats when we eat. Since we started “sleep training” he’s been napping better and sleeping better.He’s also cut 3, yes THREE teeth this week. What a champ! He now has 7 teeth, thank heavens for the teething necklaces!

Levi has even started to learn to have to share, he doesn’t really understand the concept yet but we are trying to teach him. He plays so well with other kids. Yesterday we were at our friend house and their 2 year old has a mini trampoline and Levi kept wanting on it. All of a sudden he was getting up on it, we were shocked! now he’s climbing things! We are loving this stage of “Bumps and Bruises”.
