Levi's Photo Shoot.

 We are in love with the photos we had done by La Di Da Lane. She has an amazing studio and was really good with Levi. She edited these for us, I haven't touched any up. Enjoy!

18 months.

18 MONTHS

(well not for 11 days but close enough)

- loves discovering things: opening doors, locking doors, cooking, how blocks connect

- talking now: mom, dad, dj, kitty, more, NO, YA, movie, all done, tub, help, gmama, papa, baby, play, come, shoes and pretty much repeats anything you ask him too.

-he can run like there's no tomorrow. 

-loves to cover his mouth when he laughs or coughs, and yes we laugh every time.

- his hair seems to be darkening and getting curlier.

- loves babies

- started nursery today, wahoo!

- tells me everytime he goes potty in his diaper. now asks to go potty on the potty. I am thinking it might be time to start training?? 

- the night terrors have seemed to stop and he seems to be sleeping better.

- when he says "no" he shakes his finger at us, its funny now. might not be later.

- uses utensils really well.

- has really good manners

- DJ is his best friend

- know most of his body parts (toes, fingers, nose, mouth, teeth, ears, belly, belly button)

-loves blocks and stickers!

We love this kid to pieces and he's always cracking us up. We love how much personality he has, he's very smart and knows he's funny. We love how much he loves DJ.

So speaking of potty training, anyone have any tips?

a saturday kind of day

i have our meals planned for next week, this a big deal. so im gonna pat myself on the back and tell dave to give me a hi five. i detest meal plans. mostly because i detest cooking, ask anyone about my love for it. last years new years resolution was to TRY to love to cook. i found new recipes and i tried them. i tried lots im proud of how well i did. do i love cooking now? no i don't but im trying too. with our family's year goal of "getting healthy" i knew it would be time to step up my cooking even more. so meals plans had to come out.
so they have and it inspired me to get more organized with just about everything. my week planning got a make over. my hair calender is by itself and that should help. i printed off free labels and it took over my closets.

i don't normally put a lot of thought into new years but this year dave and i did. into personal, financial, and family goals. our biggest goal is taped to the our mirror and says:

here's an awesome site to label your stuff. you can even type into the labels! i discovered this after i had written mine all out!

Memories.

Im not one to be attached to memories, probably cause I have a terrible memory. Dave has an amazing memory and loves to look through old photos and talk about our first date or a trip we took. If we didn't have photos I wouldn't be able to remember.
I was born in Germany but have no recollection of it but thanks to my parents and the pictures they took I feel like I have a piece of it. I love that Dave an I take a million photos. Levi won't remember this age but because we've taken so many photos he'll be able to have a piece of his history.
He won't remember that he dressed up as chicken for Halloween. Or that DJ had puppies that he loved to share his toy's and food with. That he was soo cuddly when he was sick. He wont remember that we'd take him to go see the temple and he'd love to run on the lawn.
Flipping through pictures on my phone make me so grateful for all the pictures we take and iPhones for having such a good camera in them :)

cardston temple

I did some wedding hair in Cardston today, and we went back to the temple to see the couple come out.

On the way to the temple I asked Levi if he wanted to go see the pretty temple and he yelled "YA"! As we pulled up he pointed in excitement and said "wowee" ( wow ). Melted my heart! Love that he was able to point it out.
I sing this song lots as we put him to bed at night.

As my grandma said before long he'll be in primary and its true! 2 more weeks and he starts nursery!

( it won't let be turn it so you hate to turn your head, sorry!)

rushed. . .

For some reason every sunday I think if we start to "get ready" at noon its easy to be out the door by 12:45, its not. Well we were rushing to be on time. But before we rushed out the door I had to snap a picture of Levi looking a little too grown up! Needless to say, we were late. Im worried with it switching to 9am, YIKES!

And here's little lolly in an elf hat. The puppies are now gone and with their new homes. Its kinda quiet around here.

We are almost ready for christmas! And are very exicted for Dave to have next weekend off, it gets a little old him being gone on the weekends! I was so bored last night I did take levi swimming and that was nice to get out of the house for awhile!

another busy weekend . . .

we had the perfect weekend, while almost but pretty darn close!

FRIDAY:
last day of classes!
my inlaws surprised us by fixing our broke down truck and bringing it home to us.
we got a letter in the mail saying "$xxxx" will be payed off on our student loans! almost half of it!!
dave had his grad party and we got to get all dressed up and celebrate his big accomplishment!

SATURDAY:
-bronx & jagger left, I thought I wouldn't cry but when bronx left i teared up a little. they've been a part of our home for the last 2 months and as much work as they were we got quite attached to them.
-dave got some christmas shopping done
-levi and i took a drive, i couldn't get him to nap otherwise. he was very irritable yesterday and just had a rough all around day.
-we had daves work party that night, pizza and bowling. it was nice to get out and meet some of the coworkers that dave works with.

SUNDAY:
-Pipa left to her new home this morning.
-We got some christmas baking down!
-momma and papa roberts came in for a visit!

It was a really fun week, and were looking forward to weds when we can officially celebrate Dave being done school!

busy is an understatement. . .

Daves last day of school can not come soon enough! I think were all a little tapped out. Poor Levi misses his daddy and hardly gets much time with me being so busy. We have seriously not stopped for the last 2 weeks and the next 3 weeks are gonna be even crazier we have a ward party, work party, daves grad party :) :), turtle neck party, we already did our party. . . and ive been to 3 home business party's. Plus im doing hair lots and daves working and school. Oh did i mention taking care of 6 puppies and trying to feed, clean, play and advertise/sell them?                                        yikes its been crazy!

 Levi can get up and play the piano by himself. He's almost 17 months old, do you know what the means? NURSERY! yahoo!

 lola feel asleep under the tree, we've started letting them out of their pens for awhile everyday. they go crazy for 20 mins and then they crash, they get so tired.

 Levi wanted to wear his life jacket. he's got so much personality, and he is soo busy! I was at a friends this past week and her house isn't as "toddler proof" as ours and she couldn't believe how he just didn't stop going . . . going  . . . .  going and going!

 bronx our only puppy left, yes you heard that right??!! ONLY 1 LEFT!

 how could i not share this cute face. jagger is kind of our favourite :)

 

Santa came to our house for my clients christmas party. Of course i forgot to get in on a picture. I'll share more on the party over at my business blog in a few days.
